Hi!
I'm Janet Shingleton, photographer and owner of
NotecardPhotos.com
I
was 6 years old when I started taking pictures with my
first camera, a Kodak Hawkeye Instamatic. (Yes, I still
have it!)
In
high school I became fascinated while looking through a
friend's 35mm SLR camera. I soon got my own Olympus
OM-1, and fell in love with photography.

While
earning a B.A. in photojournalism from Stephen F. Austin State
University, I became the first woman chief photographer for the
school paper and yearbook.
Now
using Canon's Digital 35mm technology, the hours spent behind
the lens still fly by as I attempt to capture the visions in my
mind's eye.
NotecardPhotos.com
was created
because notecards have always held a fascination for me, and I'm
excited to offer my own unique creations for your enjoyment.

Rachel
Johansen is in charge of sales and marketing for
NotecardPhotos.com. She's also my partner and a
horticulturist and landscape designer who owns her own
landscaping business, Rachel's
Gardens.
Her
creativity in our gardens supplies me with endless
photographic opportunities. Our property is a National
Wildlife Federation Certified
